We are delighted that on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November, Grittenham Barn in Petworth will again be hosting a Christmas market in aid of The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.

Enjoy hot drinks and food with breath taking views of the South Downs and explore a fantastic array of gifts and homewares in a festive traditional Sussex Barn and marquee.

We look forward to seeing you at this unique, relaxing shopping event, where you can buy a selection of Snowdrop merchandise, including bespoke Christmas cards.

Entry is just £2.50 and children are free.

The aim of the Fair is to showcase an attractive , affordable and quality selection of work by artists and makers. Tasty refreshments teas and cakes will be available all set in a glorious prairie garden.

The Festival began its life as a village event in 2000 as part of the Millenium celebrations. The event has changed in size and in character over the years, but its main purpose is still to celebrate and promote the community and culture of the West Sussex village of Henfield.

Find your Christmas presents and a treat for yourself at this festive makers market that features high quality artisan gifts. You’ll find a range of beautiful handmade products including jewellery, homewares, textiles and art. This event is held in partnership with Petworth Pop Up: Makers Market.

Come and visit the Museum over 26–27 November to see the Museum prepare for Christmas across the ages. There’ll be choirs, hands-on demonstrations, make & take activities for children and families and of course the chance to explore our collection and historic houses.

To get you into the festive spirit, not only will you be able to explore our collection of historic buildings and artefacts, but there will be a Christmas market where you will find 100 hand-selected stallholders representing the best in arts, crafts and foods from the weald region.
